Back in 2010 I rekindled a romance with an old lover,
the horror genre. I wrote and produced a short film called “Scream Machine” and
my husband and producing partner, Tim Aldridge, directed it. I was then welcomed into yet
another filmmaking circle, the women in horror circle. And, in particular, by
this amazing journalist, Char Hardin, who interviewed me and reviewed my film.
If you think us funny gals are welcoming, just wait until you step in the
bloody pool of genre filmmaking.
I highly recommend experimenting with other genres and
getting out of your comfort zone as an artist. So, if like me, you have
experimented with horror, thriller or genre blending (I have to say I have soft
spot in my heart for horror/comedies), keep Char in mind for reviews.
From Char, about herself:

enjoys discovering new Independent films with my specialty lying in the horror
genre. My services include: written
reviews, interviews and promotional marketing of filmmakers, actors, authors,

horror and interviewing to a new level with the introduction of my talk show
